Wolves are set to launch an exclusive double matchday programme for their upcoming pre-season fixtures. The programme will cover two significant matches: one against Racing Santander on Saturday, and another against Port Vale in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Friday evening. This special edition is a unique offering as it marks the first time since the 1984/85 season that both teams have been included together.
The programme will be available for purchase online or at various locations around Molineux stadium, including the Molineux Megastore and catering kiosks. Those unable to attend can also buy it through programme retailers like Curtis Sports. The double edition is priced at £5 and offers a comprehensive look into both matches.
The first half of the programme will focus on the pre-season friendly against Racing Santander, featuring insights into head coach Cesar Peixoto's summer preparations, details from the training camp in Portugal, and introductions to new signings Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez. Additionally, there will be an analysis of Racing Santander’s key players and recent signings, along with a reflection on Wolves' historical encounters against Spanish teams.
The second half of the programme will cover the Port Vale fixture, providing a season preview as the club prepares for its first EFL Championship campaign in nine years. It includes a welcome to new winger Rafiki Said, a tribute to former boss Kenny Jackett who passed away this summer, and detailed features on Port Vale’s away team from Staffordshire.
This special edition programme is not only an excellent way for fans to prepare for the upcoming season but also a nostalgic look back at Wolves' rich history of facing Spanish teams. It's available now for those eager to get their hands on it before the matches.
