Racing Santander has concluded a spectacular season with direct promotion to La Liga. The fans have been crucial in this achievement, as El Sardinero hosted 486,131 spectators across 21 league matches and 2 Copa del Rey matches. The average attendance was 21,136 fans, representing a 94% occupancy of the available seats. This year, the club saw the 'Sold Out' sign posted on 10 occasions. These figures surpass those of the previous season, which ended with 483,985 spectators and an average of 20,166 supporters. The matches with the highest attendance were the Copa del Rey clash against Barcelona, with 22,481 spectators, and the decisive league match against Valladolid, which saw 22,408 fans in attendance. For the upcoming season, Racing's management plans to reclaim part of the stadium to increase capacity, starting with the recovery of row 1 to add more available seats.
