Racing Santander has celebrated its return to LaLiga EA Sports after fourteen years of absence. This promotion occurs in the 2024-2025 season, where the club has reversed its economic situation, going from losses of 29,000 euros to profits of 750,000 euros. The Cantabrian entity has worked hard to stabilize its finances, which has been key to its success on the field. In 2015, Racing faced a debt of five million euros, but with the entry of Grupo Pitma and its subsequent sale to Sebman Sports in 2023, the situation began to improve. In the latest financial report, revenues of 19.3 million euros were reported, a 37.6% increase compared to the previous season. Broadcasting rights were the main source of income, generating 6.7 million euros. For the 2025-2026 season, Racing Santander has a budget of twenty million euros and expects an EBITDA of 4.1 million euros. This promotion not only represents a sporting achievement but also an economic rebirth for the club, which has regained its brand and seen a notable increase in sponsorship and player sales revenue.
